Mike FielekeRev. Michael Shoryu Fieleke, Resident Teacher

Mike is an Osho (senior priest) and Dharma Holder with Boundless Way Zen. Mike was ordained as a priest by Melissa Myozen Blacker, Roshi in 2013. Having received Denkai, the first stage of Dharma transmission, Mike is also Dharma heir to David Dae An Rynick, Roshi in three lineages: the Japanese Soto tradition, the Soto reform Harada-Yasutani koan curriculum, and the Korean Linji tradition. Mike also interned in teaching Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction, has a PhD in Education, and is a teacher in the Newton Public Schools.

Sandra is Morning Star's Practice Leader. Sandra has been practice leader with Morning Star since 2014. Sandra is also a professor of Philosophy.

David Dae An Rynick, Roshi
David Dae An Rynick Roshi is Boundless Way Zen priest and a Dharma heir to George Bomun Bowman who was sanctioned as a teacher by Zen Master Seung Sahn. David is currently a life and leadership coach, and one of the resident teachers at the Boundless Way Zen Temple in Worcester. James Ford

Reverend James Ishmael Ford, Zeno Myoun, Roshi
Reverend James Ishmael Ford Roshi is the Founding Teacher of the Boundless Way Zen school. James has been a student of Zen for nearly forty years. He was ordained unsui and received Dharma transmission from the late Houn Jiyu Kennett Roshi, completed koan study within the Harada/Yasutani tradition and received Inka shomei from John Tarrant Roshi. Melissa Myozen Blacker, Roshi

Josh Bartok Josh Bartok, Roshi
Josh Bartok  (Keido Mu'nen) is the abbot (head teacher and spiritual director) at the Greater Boston Zen Center. He is a Dharma heir of James Ishmael Ford Roshi in both of the roshi's lineages: the ordained Soto Zen lineage of Jiyu Kennett, and the koan introspection lineage of John Tarrant. James Myosan Cordova, Sensei
James Myosan Cordova, Sensei received full Dharma transmission from his teacher, Melissa Myozen Blacker, Roshi in December 2016. James serves as the resident teacher for the Benevolent Street Sangha in Providence, Rhode Island and is one of the resident teachers at Boundless Way Temple in Worcester, Massachusetts. He is currently the Vice-President and Clerk of the Boundless Way Temple Leadership Council. James is also a husband and father of two children, Chair of the Psychology Department at Clark University, and a licensed clinical psychologist in private practice. He is the author of The Marriage Check-up, The Marriage Checkup Practitioner's Guide, and The Story of Mu.


Diane Fitzgerald

Diane Shoshin Fitzgerald, Sensei
Diane Shoshin Fitzgerald, Sensei received full Dharma transmission in 2017 from her teacher, Melissa Myozen Blacker, Roshi and is an ordained Soto Zen priest. She is the resident teacher at Boundless Way Zen DownEast in Pembroke, Maine and is one of the resident teachers for Boundless Way Temple in Worcester, Massachusetts. Diane is also one of the leaders of the Boundless Way Zen and Boundless Way Zen DownEast Ecosattva action groups and is a volunteer with DownEast Hospice Services.

Kate Hartland

Kate Kagen Hartland, Sensei
Kate Kagen Hartland, Sensei is a Guiding Teacher for Boundless Way Zen and leads the Bright Sea Zen Sangha in Weymouth, MA. She is a Dharma heir of Josh Muínen Bartok, Roshi, and is a member of the Lay Zen Teachers Association. Before coming to Boundless Way she had studied with both Philip Kapleau (Rochester Zen Center) and Toni Packer (Springwater Center). Kate works at the non-profit Broad Institute of MIT and Harvard, furthering biomedical research.
